The acronym WOK, which introduces this musical trio, refers to the surnames of its members: Wheatley, Ortí, and Kéry. Canarian pianist and composer, Polo Ortí, joins forces with two international talents: Hungarian bassist Samuel Kéry and English drummer Joshua Wheatley. Despite their youth, both possess extensive experience in music. The ensemble will perform a selection of Ortí's original compositions, as well as some pieces by Wheatley and various jazz classics. This concert is the result of the combination of Ortí's repertoire with Wheatley's musical ingenuity and Kéry's accompaniment.

Polo Ortí will play his own piano music while performing in live the BSO of the wonderful movie "City of Lights" (1931) directed and performed by Charlie Chaplin.
